Construction equipment industry in India is expected to reach US$ 7 billion by 2020 from US$ 4.2 billion in 2017, in value terms. While, volume sale of construction equipment is expected to grow to 110815 units by 2022.

Construction equipment forms around 7 – 8 % of GDP and expected to give employment to more than 3.0 million people in the country by 2020. It also accounts for more than 60 per cent in total infrastructural investment (source: ibef.org)
